Epcot, June 21

Here are a few different views of the Epcot landmark. The first is when you approach the park, the second is from the other side, the third is from across the lake at the World Showcase, and the fourth is as we were leaving, the night view.
Epcot was a day of standing in lines. We could only get one fast pass because of them being a tiered plan. So we got one for the new Frozen Ever After, but it wasn't until 6:30 p.m.  We went to Test Track when we first got to Epcot. The line was 90 minutes long. It has changed a ton since we were here many years ago. It was lots of fun!  Here are a couple of pictures that we thought our children/grandchildren might enjoy from the Test Track Display.

This was the car we designed to be our test car.
After a little shopping, we headed to the World Showcase. We have been waiting for a long time to eat fish and chips in the British Isles area. They were so good.

We spent the next several hours going through the World Showcase. And then waited for 75 minutes for Soaring.
It broke down just before we got on. The new Soaring is great. When we got out of Soaring, Michael had an email telling him that Frozen was broken and our fast pass was good for the rest of the night. We decided to check and see if it was open yet and it was. They were only allowing guests with fast passes on because they were so far behind. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for the ride. However, they handed out candy bars to everyone in line. The Reese's peanut butter cups were a great treat to make the wait sweeter. The ride was fun.

We waited for the Illuminations Reflections of Earth firework show. We visited with a family from South Carolina.   The dad was an electrician and he had a thick southern accent. It was fun to listen to him talk.

The show was ok, not the World of Color, or even close, but had some cool effects. It was cool to have all the guests circled around the show. It was presented in the center of the lake. No pressing crowds. Good for that reason.

Update on Briella. She is home after her surgery and recovering. Hopefully she and her mom will get better rest tonight.

We are enjoying reading all the comments on our blog. Keep them coming.
