Day 28

Today we are off to New York.  Our two daughters and our granddaughter who have visited New York think it is amazing and would love to go back.  Should be interesting what our take on New York will be. 

The drive from Washington DC to New York (or at least where our hotel is at is only 228 miles with the expected drive time of 3 hours and 41 minutes. Of course, traffic conditions may slow us down.  I must say that we are nervous about driving in New York city.

Our hotel (Hampton Inn & Suites Newark-Harrison-Riverwalk) is actually in Harrison, New Jersey and we will be using the public transportation to get around New York while we visit.

We will be spending 2 days in New York.
